David, I've seen this map before, but not quite at this size. Looking at it and comparing it to the Michler map might just have solved this for me. When comparing, it is obvious that the two sets of Union lines in blue on the Michler map were where th II Corps started on June 22 (the line extending from Ft. Davis) and where it was advanced on the morning of the 22nd (a continuation of the line from Ft. Sedgwick). Mahone came in behind that first line of blue, and Union regiments fled precipitously forthe second set of works to the southeast or to the Jerusalem Plank Road. Brett
