Perry...I agree with you 100%. I still remember sitting in the theater and when the opening came up with those flags and that wonderful song by Mary Fahl, I had the highest hopes for the movie. Then of course the first scene has Robert E. Lee with a beard he didnt grow until later in the war. And it went rapidly downhill from there. What a missed opportunity. Kent Dorr
