As Pickett said "I think the Yankees had something to do with it". Other than that Lee could have comitted Andersons division on the night of July 1 but he didnt, he could have compelled Ewell's corps to move to the right and add more power and depth to the attack, but he didnt...But one cant wonder why the rebs lost at Gettysburg without wondering why the federals won... ken
