Newsflash

With the war over for the past 140 odd years, and with the CSA having been defeated at that time, I would submit there are NO MORE Confederates anywhere!

There are however, DESCENDENTS of Confederates, and some of us wish to honor the sacrifices those old soldiers made.

Others, would call them traitors, dishonorable men who dared defend their homes.

I am well aware of the areas of Union leaning, having been born and raised in North Alabama, however I still had many many ancestors from that area as well as other parts of Alabama who served and fought honorably in the various armies if the CSA.
