i have currently been trying to do a little family research and have started with my great uncle, PFC James Arthur Stone. as i believe i said in an earlier post he fought in Normandy, France and took a grenade to the face and it blew off his jaw and he died 11 days later. i was wondering if anybody knows how i can obtain any medals he may have won??? he didn't have a wife or any children and as far as i know none of my family members have any medals of his.
