The "fake" Longstreet's dubious post:
"If I thought this war was about slavery, I'd resign and offer my sword to the other side."--U.S. Grant
The two quotes don't exactly jive, do they?
Not to mention the fact that as President, Grant did many things for the freedmen and for the cause of civil rights for blacks.
