 The peaceful transfer of power. It is a beautiful thing.

I was very young and impressionable when I heard MLK say that a man should be judged by the content of his character and not the color of his skin. I loved those words and have tried to live my life by those words. So it is now, with all due respect, we stop calling President Obama our first African-American president, and start referring to him as our 44th president.

It is a good day.
