 Ah, well, skeptics and naysayers always come up with the same response which I have to take with a grain of salt.

Suffice it to say, I took many photos that day and this was the only photo that showed this anomaly. Therefore, it most certainly couldn't have been a smudge on the lens (which I would have noticed on the other photos), and noone was walking around in the area whom could have kicked up dust or particles.  As I stated, I took this from my vehicle, so I certainly wasn't trampling around in the field either.
