The inclusion of notes is entirely up to the author. I have an interview with Tom Broadfoot scheduled to run next week Tuesday which explains a lot of the process.

The rosters in each book are takjavascript:%20document.editor_form.post_reply.value=1;%20document.editor_form.submit();en from the CSRs of each soldier, and this information makes up the vast majority of the book.
