I respect your opinion and the way it seems to be researched and thought out. My only concerns are concerns I've said before. It is very difficult to place modern values and ideals on historical people. Before dismissing Howe as a hypocrite racist, you have to place yourself in her shoes, in her period, with her education and upbringing. Maybe you have. Also, to have little respect for all abolitionists paints a pretty wide brush stroke.
There is not enough room in this website for me to go into all the conflicts I have with John Brown and what he meant to the history of this nation.
