Thanks PC, I should have looked at the regiments roster. Undoubtably he has a diary out there somewhere. So begins my quest. Lucien Spencer had a brother in the 1st Mich Cav, William, who was a pow at the 2nd Manassas, then later wounded at Five Forks where he had his right arm amputated. I'm currently compiling a list of all my ancestors who were captured/pow, wounded, kia. As you can problably surmise, I like lists.
