 The Battle of Mohi in 1241 mark the furthest advancement into Europe by the Mongol Horde. The Mongols won the battle and except for the death of the Great Khan Ogedi Europe may have suffered the same plight as the Russian's did at the hands of the Mongols...

The timely death of the Great Khan Ogedi was fate....interesting that the nature death of a man change the world as we know it...
