I posted this question in the area reserved for books, but thought I would ask it here too. In James Swanson's book "Manhunt," he has Edwin Stanton making the statement upon Lincoln's passing that "Now he belongs to the angels." I have always understood the statement to be "Now he belongs to the ages." Does anyone have any information concerning this discrepency? Last edited on Sat Sep 30th, 2006 01:25 am by A.J. |
