 I know I'm going to get slammed for this, but here's what I find disturbing:

In a pivotal 4 years of our history, filled with real-life characters both admirable and despicable, with real battles and campaigns great and small , with political intrique like never seen before or since, with heartbreak and trauma unprecedented....a large portion of the Civil War community lowers their expectations for a movie to some piece of fictional drek. For some reason I find that sad.
