I realize these books are fiction, a lot of the material though is true, (even in Gone with the Wind where she describes what went on during Reconstruction). The authors put a lot of time into research to make them as close to the truth as possible. I have read both fiction and nonfiction books about the war and I know what actually happened. But I have learned a lot about the war through fiction books. I don't mean to start an argument about this. I just wanted to state my opinion. The real purpose of this topic is to discuss if LFM will ever be made, and I hope someday it is.
