Welcome Ben, Glad your here. It's nice to see someone your age so involved in American history. I believe it's so important for our youth (all Americans) to know our nations history. I may be from NY, but I also believed in the confederate cause. I don't believe it was all about slavery either, the majority of southern soldiers didn't own slaves, so why would you fight for something you didn't have. sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders. I wish you all the Best in your future pursuits. Best of Luck in your reenacting and I look forward to reading your Literature some day.
