 I've seen Gods and Generals as well as Gettysburg more than once. I had to read "Killer Angels" as a History major in undergrad school. I ALWAYS have felt that the release would have been better if done in sequence: Gods and Generals, Gettysburg and THEN Last Full Measure. I have to believe that Turner will find some way to make "The Last Full Measure" if for no other reason than to show what a lousy actor he is again. I agree with the post that noticed the difference in "balance" in Gods and Generals. The books were written in balanced fashion, so the movie violated the natural balanced flow of the books.
If the last movie doesn't get made I guess I'll have to satisfy myself by watching the last two CD's of the PBS Civil War series..., another "classic."
