Little Women is more about the girls growing up than the Civil War . Funny it is my favorite book from childhood and until recently I didn't think of it as a Civil War book or movie . Glory is in a class by itself. It is a different type of battle , the battle to be accepted to prove that the black man would and could fight. Cold Mountain? After the Crater scene the only good thing about the movie is Renee's acting . Oh and the singing in the church.
