All, I just wanted to add a quick update on my Petersburg Campaign site. Many reports from the first volume of the Official Records to focus on the Petersburg Campaign (Serial Number 80) are up. I've started adding Petersburg related articles from Battles and LEaders of the Civil War, The MOLLUS War Papers, the Papers of the Military Historical Society of Massachusetts, and (soon) the Southern Historical Society Papers. Newspaper articles from many period newspapers have started to appear. I'm slowly working my way from June 1864-April 1864 on the web site, and I'm working with a volunteer transcriber. I've also been working hard on the Today in the Petersburg Campaign series(which will be complete on April 10, 2010). Lastly, I've added quite a few maps from various public domain sources since you might have last checked in. I'd love to hear some feedback from knowledgeable Civil War buffs, so go check it out!
