 There are other battlefields in the west .  There is Picacho Peak in Arizona near Tucson, There is Sabine pass,   Honey Creek is one in Oklahoma.   Missouri has Wilson Creek and Arkansas has Pea Ridge.  

I live in the far far west but have been to many east coast and southern battlefields.  I have also been to all of the above sites except Sabine Pass .
