HonestlyI would much rather see the directors cut of Gods and Generals before ever seeing Last Full Measure. The original of Gods and Generals left a lot to be desired and from what I heard about the Directors cut some scenes were cut out. The Battle of Antietiam (Jacksons POV and Chamberlains hand burning incident), Scenes featuring Actor John Wilkes Booth meeting Joshua and Fannie Chamberlain after the Play Julius Caeser where he plays Brutus, and a Scene where Booth refuses to meet Lincoln in Washington after another Shakespere play. If they ever make Last Full Measure I think it would be cheaper to just splice the Crater Scenes from Cold Mountain, but the Prospects do not look good toward having it made anytime soon maybe after the 150's you just might see it and if we do Donald Sutherland needs to play Beauguard it would pull in the Movie the Hunley Last edited on Thu Jun 24th, 2010 08:39 am by CameronsHighlander |
