 For whatever its worth my husband recently attended a fund raising event where Maxwell was the speaker. His take on the reason there will be no LFM is because it took him years to make Gettysburg and GAG and he didn't have the time to invest in another massive project.

And for whatever else its worth I have a slight acquaintance with one of the actors from that 'brothers leaving home' scene in GAG. He wanted to date my daughter..apparently she wasn't interested.

I would like to see a dramatization of the events leading up to Appomattox but it doesn't have to be LFM.
