The first copyright date is 1999. Publication of the Third Edition was from 1988 to 1997.
As for: "Mostest," it says:
most-est (Mos'tist) adj., n. [Slang] tautological var. of MOST ["the hostess with the mostest"]
No mention of Nathan Bedford Forrest.
