I really like the part concerning the movie Gods and Generals versus his book. It really sounds like he's as disappointed in the movie as some of us are, especially when compared to how Gettysburg followed his father's book so much more closely. Would have been interesting to see how it had turned out if he'd had more say in the filming. It is nice, though, that he  wants to have wants more input if they ever do make The Last Full Measure so that it hopefully stays closer to the book.

Vietnam. I knew he'd done research to do the Korean story and then put it on hold (wasn't it he was going to originally go from WWI to Korea then realized he needed to do what was originally supposed to be a WWII trilogy though is now scheduled to be at least four with the next being set in the Pacific?). But this is the first time I've heard of him looking to do one on Vietnam. At least that I can remember.
