Hello all! My first post here, happy to be part of this group!

I recently purchased my first Civil War-period revolver, a fully and properly inspected Remington 1858 New Model Army. The gun has a matching serial number of 63,9XX range. I've looked all over but cannot determine the production and delivery date attached to this serial number.

Could someone help inform me a bit more as to when this revolver was produced and delivered for service?  I was hoping to narrow it down to at least a month and year.
