Just a heads up from us western Civl War afficiandos. The 2nd weekend in march 2012 will be the 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Picacho Peak. We at Picacho Peak State Park will host this weekend event.
3 different battles are commemorated: The Battle of ValVerde, The battle of Glorietta Pass and The Battle of Picacho Pass. It is a real nice event and is worth your time if your interested in the Civil War of the Southwest. Thanks to our Reenactors and Volunteers this event really shines!
