My discussion with Pender about Cedar Mountain, the reading I am doing out of Krick's book, indicate to me General Early deserves lots of accolades for his rapid turn of his regiments to halt the Union attack from rolling up Stonewall. Also that move saved Pegrem's cannon around the cedar thicket. What y'all think?
