I am attaching a file which is a scanned portion of a Civil War map. Can anyone tell me the name of this Confederate colonel ? I cannot read it no matter how hard I try. The only hints I have are that he was involved in the defense of Lynchburg during the battle of Lynchburg in 1864, and I am almost certain that he was an artillery officer.
