Read James McPherson's "Battle Cry of Freedom." Also included in my library are all of Bruce Catton's works. I just finished watching my Gettysburg DVD again. Though tragic epochs in many ways, both the Civil War and World War II made us the great nation that we are today. The Civil war united us and World War II reminded us who we were. ---- Wordsmith
