I wouldn't rely on eBay to determine the worth of something, personally. Remember you're looking at how much people are putting something up for on there and how much people are paying for it. A lot of times there may be things that would be caught by an appraiser to raiser or lower the value of something that someone putting something up on eBay might not get.
