I made my buildings from a mixed bag of assorted sized wooden "chits" or squares that I got from a craft store....For log cabins, I make them from the same chit, but then cut tooth-picks to glue to the sides.....They look ok, but are at least functional.....Buying buildings can get expensive!! :)

I make my fencing from balsa wood.....Have you ever made stone walls and bridges from styrofoam??......They look pretty cool!!
