Has anyone seen this documentary yet? It spans two discs and runs nearly three hours in length, detailing the 150th anniversary reenactment of the battle of Shiloh, filmed this past April. GREAT film for trying to spot yourself or other reenactor buddies and units who may have taken part. This is a film about the reenactment, and the labor of love of both the filmmaker and those who took part is evident. I have seen the film, and I have to admit, the audio is EXCELLENT-- you will definitely feel the pop of the artillery, and the video location puts you right in the middle of battle.

The film can be ordered here: http://openeyesmedia.wordpress.com/dvds/

They also have an IMDB page: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2354150/

There are also many photo albums and pictures that are free for viewing on that site, as well as Youtube videos. Definitely worth checking out! Try to find your friends! The second disc also includes a video tour of the Shiloh battlefield, which comes in handy if you can't make it to Tennessee. :D
