Hello all,

I have been reading this and thought I would add to it. Glory and Gettysburg are great movies. While Gettysburg had it problems with being correct, it was still a great movie. It did have heart, and a few better story then Gods and Generals. But like it was said on here, there is no way to span that much time. Gettysburg only had to deal with a few days not years like G+G. I would have loved to see the Valley or Sharpsburg in G+G. I do still love G+G, but I do find my self scanning past some of the slow parts. I also look for me and friends who are in the film. And I still hope that the full 6+ hours version of G+G will come out. But I also feel that should the movie Last Full Measure ever get made, Maxwell needs to be far far away from anything that has to do with him near the screenplay. But someone said that Ride With The Devil was great. I dont see that at all. It was at best ok. But this new movie CSA looks like another attempt to bash the Confederate flag and anyone who owns one. I have not seen the movie, and I am sure that I will once it is on DVD. And with the film company that is putting it out, I am sure that will be in a few weeks. Now dont get me wrong, I love the what if's, and it is one of them things we talk about at reenactments. And I would love to see something put out on what if the south had won, and have it done by people who dont seem to be stuck on "Evil Whitie" and the slave issue. They even did a Twilight Zone on the Civil War and what if. And again it sucked, and made it again seem that the South is evil, and North all wanted to free slaves. The CSA movie is going to just be one of them movies that is there and gone.
