 Miss Susan's said it well.  All the battlefields are special and touching for different reasons.  And there are just so many of them, large and small, it would take more than a lifetime to see them all.

Wherevever you go, read about it first, before you ever get close.  You'll have a deeper and more meaningful experiance than trying to learn the history at the site itself.  If you have Veterans in your family, it is moving beyond words to walk the fields they walked, and if you know that he might have died at a certain place, be prepared for that emotion.
