I watched "The Colt" on dvd this weekend. It's set in 1864 and follows a trooper who is in the First Michigan Cavalry. His mare gave birth a colt and the movie follows his struggles as well as the colt's. I , myeslf enjoyed the movie for a night of entertainment at home. There are moments of deep emotions and moments of fighting and skirmishing. It's worth the 83 minutes of watching time. It's even okay for a manly man to admit liking this one. Shhh. I won't tell.
