Before I get jumped on for my previous post, here's a survey conducted by the United States Election Assistance Commission regarding elections in the year 2000 General Election (http://www.eac.gov/election_resources/00demog.htm). The population I've discussed has 63.6% registered to vote, of that, only 53.5% actually voted (VAP is defined as Voting Age Population) Cit.
