Just saw an ad on TV this morning while I was watching "Civil War Journal" announcing a new History Channel special to be aired April 22,2007 at 9PM/8c. It is "Sherman's March." The ad shows a few scenes and the actor who plays Sherman has some things to say about the filming. I'm not clear if it will be done as straight history like most History Channel shows or if it will be done as a drama in the manner of "Gods and Generals." I'm also not sure if it will be one hour or longer. I don't think it will be a series. Just thought I'd give a heads up on this presentation in case anyone would be interested.
