Albert, here is some information that you might already have. If you haven't seen it, then it does some good. If you have, then it does no harm. First, here is the gravesite of Fielding Jackson Hurst. I believe him to be the same Hurst who commanded the 6th Tennessee Cavalry (US). Fielding Jackson Hurst (1810 - 1882) - Find A Grave Memorial Second, here is some regimental history for the 6th Tennessee Cavalry (US): TNGenWeb Project Tennesseans in the Civil War, 6TH TENNESSEE CAVALRY REGIMENT, U.S.A.. Third, here is a list of ten Partridge gravesites in Tennessee, again courtesy of http://www.findagrave.com. The first one listed is Arlington Partridge, who died at the age of six and is buried in McNairy County. He was the son of B.F. and Jennie Partridge, and probably ties in somewhere.
