In your trip to Kennesaw Mtn., two close-by side trips could be made: one would be to the area of New Hope Church [lots of plaques only] and the other to a little-visited but nicely kept battlefield called Pickett's Mill, where Patrick Cleburne taught Oliver Otis Howard yet another lesson in battlefield tactics and management.
