 I feel the same way about "CSI Miami." Only parts of it are actually filmed in Miami. The rest is filmed in California. I know immediately when I can spy a little mountain or large hill in the background or the vegetation or architecture is wrong or even the lighting is different. At least most, if not all, of the "Miami Vice" TV series was filmed in the Miami area.

Much of "CSI Las Vegas" also is filmed in California. I can tell when scenes aren't filmed in Las Vegas.

The movie "Miami Vice" was filmed in the Miami area too. I'm not sure the Cuban scenes were authentic, but can't really say for sure having never been there. I sort of figured they might be in Puerto Rico. Could be wrong on that.
