 Dear One doesn't share my interest either, so I don't take her along on excursions. Did take her to Antietam/Manassas/Harpers Ferry early on, and she gamely trotted along -- not coming alive until we got into Harpers Ferry with its quaint buildings and little shops.

Next year's muster is in Charleston/Savannah. She's already checking flights and such. The reason? All the good stuff that has nothing to do with the WBTS. Besides, when we were in Savannah last year, I had to drag her away so we could at least stay close to our schedule.

I know only a few couples who share the fascination. Luck?
