 JoanieReb, I had feared it would a hated chick flick too, a genre I avoid like the plague even though I am a chick--OK, a hen. But what might scare many chicks away is that this movie is not easy to watch. It is brutal and demonstrates the harsh realities of people who think nothing of heinous murder to further their agenda.

Chick flicks tend to take a "softer" approach, often have lovely cast members in pretty clothes and homey kitchen scenes, etc. None of that is here even though the lead actress is a woman and a strong one at that.

I suspect this movie will be out on DVD pretty quickly given its lack of popularity. I do suspect the lack of popularity is the gruesome subject matter.
