If you have time, go to Corinth. The drive to Shiloh isn't that far and, if you're staying over, Corinth will give you a variety of places to stay. If you are short of time, sorry Calcav, go directly to Shiloh. Although a must-see, the Corinth interpretive center is on the site of one battery emplacement. At Shiloh, they're ALL there.

Re Hagy's. If you get to hankerin for food while at Shiloh, Hagy's is about your only choice. I think it's overrated, but you might get there on a good day.

Come prepared with really good maps. I'm convinced that, when it came time to budget for road signs, every state east of the Mississippi and south of the Ohio ran out of money. Oh yes, do have your most comfortable walking shoes with you.
