 Ed, no the the reddy brown colour on the bino case is paint.
The figure comes in a creamy coloured resin. You can see it on the gauntlet on the left hand where I scraped off some paint to remove a mould line. I should have removed that first before priming but somehow missed it. After the figure is cleaned up it's sprayed with automtive primer and then I start slapping the paint on.
