 Sometimes little things really irk me. Tonight on the NBC Nightly News, anchorman Brian Williams came out with this gem (I'll paraphrase) -

" ...the evacuation due to the California fires is now the largest peacetime movement of civilians since the Civil War".

Ummm, in a word - huh? Anyone else see a little problem with that statement?
