If it ever shows here I will post again my thoughts. If I go by what was said to be in the movie (the bit about the Nazis, attacking Japan, etc) then I fail to see how that can be productive at all. What dialog could possibly come from "assuming" that a CSA driven government would support Nazi Germany or have any desire or motivation to attack Japan or to just blatantly assume that slavery would still exist in the 20th century? I think all it would produce is more confusion over matters that have already been muddied by time (slavery would have died out regardless of the war, the confederates were not evil men or even right or wrong, they were a people who fought for principle, no different than the north, etc etc). What we need is more factual movies, documentaries and media presentations and not more presentations that will confuse the already confused. Again, I will either substantiate my position after seeing the movie or acknowledge my misgivings.
