True. :)  But remember that Kevin Willmott had the original film completed and it was getting attention at the Sundance Film Festival before Spike Lee ever signed on.  Kevin doesn't strike me as someone who'd let anyone else run with HIS film.  Spike Lee added his name to help the film get more attention. 

Adding a link to a story the Daily Kansan (the online edition of The University Daily Kansan) ran on Kevin and the film a couple of weeks ago.
