Thats one way of looking at it, however I still find it intersting that 21 men with no financial interest in preserving slavery were willing to make the sacrifice of traveling to Richmond and maintaing themselves there for months in order to represent thier ststes in the Confederate Congress. At least for these 21 there must have been something other than slavery at stake. Dennis Conklin R
