 No, I did not know that patty played both parts. Annie Sullivan (I always thought it was Anne)was IMHO as important a figure in the story as was Miss Keller. Without her marvelous talents and patience the outcome would have been much different.

I wish I lived closer too...My current home in IL is about 450 miles from Florence/Tuscumbia, but I get there a couple of times a year. I have not lived there for 50 years, yet still refer to my trips as "going home"
