I was just wondering when this CD-ROM is supposed to come out. Anybody who has had the opportunity to see Stephen Recker's Virtual Gettysburg would almost certainly enjoy Antietam as well, I think. The Virtual Antietam website has got 2 sample panoramas to tease us with, along with a monument data base and a few podcasts, but no CD-ROM yet. It's been saying "wait till next year" for about 3 years now (sounds reminiscent of a 1918-2004 era Boston Red Sox fan). Just curious. Seems we had to wait about 10 years for Sid Meier's Antietam too.

Good question CY. We gave VG a sterling review and got a very nice e-mail from Stephen. We kept in touch and when VA was announced (years ago now) I wrote him to remind him to send us a review copy when it came out. He wrote back saying certainly he would, that he and his family were in fact in the process of moving to Antietam. And that's the last I heard. I'll dig around and see what I can find out....
